Judge’s Comments: NACE — NACE had a wonderful kit this year. The design was simple and organized. The tabs and consistent layout help potentially advertisers quickly and easily find the information they are looking for. I also really liked that they included an opening letter from the Group Publisher. They were the only entry to do so and it was a nice call-back to the magazines themselves. I also thought they did a wonderful job highlighting the readership statistics with a few quick info-graphics.

Judge’s Comments: LD+A — This had one of the best overall designs of the entries. It was a crisp, well-organized design and similar to the NACE entry, the tabs help potential advertisers quickly get to the relevant information. The content was well written and had the right information about the audience advertisers would want to know before deciding to advertise. The editorial calendar was well laid out with the right information for booking advertising as well as a good overview of what would be featured in that month’s issue. I also enjoyed the slide out rate cards, I could see it being very helpful for frequent advertisers to pull out and have handy in their office.

Judge’s Comments: The design of this entry was simple but effective. The included all of the necessary information: editorial calendar, circulation highlights etc. I especially liked the ad spec images provided to help the advertiser.
