Did the notice for ASAE’s new Digital Convergence meeting show up in your Facebook feed this week, too?
The description on the event’s page says, “Over the course of two days, Digital Convergence takes association C-suite executives and their teams to new heights with an in-depth exploration of digital leadership…” and not much more detail. The agenda isn’t any more helpful. It may be a bit early for details as the meeting will take place Sept. 13-15 at the Hyatt Regency Chicago. Be interesting to see how this dovetails or changes the traditional programming for the ASAE Tech Conference. We’ll report as more details come out.

Seems everybody has a United story now. Some of the ones I’ve read via social media are pretty frustrating. (I have to say, though, in all of those instances, nobody was dragged off.) The fact that many people are sharing their negative United experiences via social media is a clue for the airline that it must make noticeable changes and positive outreach and fast. Will United match a competitor’s new, generous monetary policy when removing a customer because they need the seat? That would be positive outreach if they do.
