    New chief executive at American Frozen Food Institute

    Succeeds Naasz, who is now at Distilled Spirits


    Alison Bodor will become CEO of the American Frozen Food Institute, effective May 16. She succeeds Kraig R. Naasz, who left at the end of 2015 to become CEO of the Distilled Spirits Council of the U.S. Joseph Clayton has been interim president.

    AFFI chairman Larry Cope said Bodor’s, “extensive public policy and leadership experience will further strengthen our efforts on behalf of frozen food and beverage makers.”

    Bodor was EVP of the National Confectioners Association. Before joining NCA in 2000, she worked in regulatory compliance at McCormick & Co. and the U.S. Dairy Export Council. She also spent four years conducting dietary risk assessments for the food and beverage industries with Technical Assessment Systems and then Environ International Corp.

    Bodor earned a bachelor’s degree in food science at Cornell, and an MBA at the University of Maryland.
